So I was gifted a White Orpington roo, 3 WO hens, a New Hampshire roo, and 2 NH hens. I threw together a pair of tractors to separate them by breed and was happy. Now the guy wants to gift me 2 more roos and 6 hens. Then another guy wants to gift me 11 more that are Easter Eggers and Rhode Island Reds! I need more space, so I started a hoop/coop/tractor.
All the lumber is gifted and it is pretty good. 2x4x20 all red oak that is rough cut. 2x6x16 same. 1x4x8 same. Some culled poplar boards from a sawmill that were huge 1x12x12. One gifted, used cattle panel. One gifted 50' roll of hardware cloth. So far I have only bought 2 cattle panels.
So after ripping lumber all morning Saturday, I got this far.
The humidity and dew point were thru the roof Saturday, so not much finished. Sunday was all mowing for my folks. Hoping to get some more done this Friday.
How nasty was it Saturday? Pooped pups say it all.
Yes, Thor is that tired...
