DIL is in a room now waiting for a nurse. Their appointment was 6 pm. It is now 11 pm. Give me a break!!!!

My 1st grand baby's delivery several years ago was assisted by a fireman even though mom was inpatient in the hospital for over 18 hours and induced...the moment arrived but DIL's doc, and no other doc, was available stat despite emergency requests for ANY doc in the house...so a fireman that happened to be in the ER from another patient ran up to the labor dept as-is and assisted in the birth, mostly to give support to mom & dad since the baby delivered himself.

How exciting, I am praying for your family.

Hospitals try, but I know how frusterating it is to wait. My doctor was twohours late for my c- section.

Kenneth Ryan made his way into this world this morning at 10:05 am, 7 lbs 2 ounces, 20 inches long with blonde hair. Now don;t shoot me. Jen went into labor before Lil Kenny was born and Ken took my phone with him up there. I am waiting for others who took pics to get home and send them to me.

But he is ADORABLE!
