We are in the hot dry part of summer here. Humidity in the single digits and highs over 100°.

I know watermelon is ok for them.....
Strawberries? Cantaloupe?
Other nummy stuff to help them through?

Do I cut them up small and put it in a dish of water?

My chickens can peck things apart easily.....just wanting the ducks to have treats served how they can eat them.

Our freezer died. The one on the fridge is full of the meat we could save.
All the froze veggies were a total loss.
I will save the strawberries for shortcake then....:drool

I guess I will cut up a watermelon for the birds in a couple minutes.

Chickens....they will get wedges
Ducks.....cubes in a dish with water in the bottom.

You are lucky to have 100 degrees with single digit humidity.we are currently 101, no wind, 36% humidity for a heat index of 111. Yes the ducks and ducklings got cold watermelon and strawberries today.

36% is dry.

It has been 100% humidity today, and 100 heat index, no wind.
