I used to be very active on this forum as well as the old BYC. Now life has sort of gotten in the way of my active posting and so usually I resort to lurking rather than posting all the time. I'm soo very happy to see how much BYC has grown, but it makes me sad to come back and be treated like a stranger after being a member for close to 8 or 9 years now. Its happened a few times to me and I can't blame anyone but myself for not posting more, but things have just been soo darned busy.

I'm happy to see some of the originals posting every now and again, especially in the "other livestock" section. I don't know what I'd do if some of my old "horse buddies" weren't still around to give me horse advice!

So I guess I'm just randomly rambling today and I'm about ready to fall asleep on my keyboard after working outside with horses all day, so that certainly doesn't help matters any! See y'all around the forum

We talked about horses and parrots.

I haven't had much time in the past week to hang out on BYC because of horses and all the projects I have going on and this week is back to school week.....etc..etc...LOL

I am so tired right now that I would love to fall asleep on my keyboard but there is still 2 hrs. of daylight outside and the chicken coops need cleaning...etc..etc....LOL

....this has been my only reply to a thread in days I think.....

I remember you from way back CD. You have grown into a fine young lady & now being an adult, have the REAL WORLD to deal with on a day to day basis.

You are a SMART cookie, & life's road will treat you well.

LOL, where'd all you guys come from? Haha, nice to see everyone! I guess this post came from the fact that I've been sort of bummed being away from all my college friends all summer long. I love being home, but I am definitely looking forward to getting back for junior semester!

Marlinchaser, I didn't even know there was a forum like that for bettas! (You probably told me and I just forgot) I'd love to join! I still have one betta in a ten gallon tank with three platies and three mini corys. He's one happy betta and he's the first one who hasn't had any tail issues! This year I'm planning on bringing two of my ringneck doves though as I really do miss my birds while I'm at school. I'm crossing my fingers that we don't get in trouble because animals aren't *supposed* to be at school, but usually they don't have a problem with them.

Chicks N' Horses, you are one of the horse people who's opinion I value very much! I actually haven't been working much at the bird sanctuary and I really miss them silly birds.

LCRT, where the heck ya been, man? I've missed you! Do you still have lucky, the silkies, and the sebright?

I'm glad I've been remembered! I had a somewhat free day today, so I had some time to post. It was nice to be able to catch up on the forum a bit!

I remember you.

(Actually, one of the first things I do if I don't recognize a username -- not that I DIDN'T recognize yours

I remember you also!....so, see you have not been forgotten... everybody has their busy times and quiet times...... welcome back to the fold...........

Aww, thank you. I appreciate that comment. Horsemanship is a never ending learning process and I still learn new things that help me out. I am glad I have helped you out in any way and don't ever hesitate to PM me about anything.
