It only took 3 nights

It only took 3 nights of catching the 12 chickens that were roosting in the plum tree and locking them in the coop at night to get'm use to it. The first night I had to catch all 12, the second night it was only 6 and the third night there was 1 last stubborn leghorn.

They all go in at night now. So cool, I thought I was gunna be catching them for weeks!

Thanks! It's a constant work in progress. I was fine with letting them roost in the tree until it got really cold and rainy.

Thanks. I was lucky I hadn't cut those two branches into firewood before I used'm for that. I wish the rest of the chickens would use those two roosts instead of the ones in the nesting box area.
