It took a pandemic but my husband agreed to let me adopt two more ducks. They are both hens bringing me back to six total, five hens and one drake. I lost one hen last month, I believe to egg binding. I gave away one drake last fall so I was down to four with only one laying consistently. One egg a day was fine for my husband and I as empty nesters. But, with my three college sons home we needed more eggs so hubby gave in. :celebrate I let him name them. Meet Mustard and Mayo.

I hatched Mustard in my classroom. Salsa is her daddy. He is 1/2 Khaki and 1/2 Appleyard and I think Popcorn is her mother who is a Welsh Harlequin but it could be Chip, the Khaki I lost last month. That is either her or one of her sisters in my avatar. Mayo is a White Crested.

:love Gorgeous!

The brown one almost looks like a Golden 300 to me.
She does. It makes you wonder what exactly the Golden hybrid 300 is. The drake must be a Khaki and I wonder if the hen is a silver Harlequin/Black Swedish cross. Just a guess.
