Which obviously *rolls eyes* made it a great day to take some photos around the place...
Luna's big butt, she's eating dinner here.. she has arthritis and 2 club feet, hence the funny stance...
Goaties telling me it's dinner time! The big fat one on the left is Cissy, and the littler one on the right is Mione
There are quite a few Canadians on here now, and I'm sure Patandchickens will remember the WONDERFUL (not!!) rain we got...
I had intended on putting Mylie in this field and moving Luna up before the rain and boy I can say am I glad I didn't! Otherwise I might have come down to find her frozen to the ground!
Om nom nom, there were carrots in my dinner mom!
Poo-ma-geddon, I had intended on scooping up the poop but it froze before I could and well.. I'm quite thankful I didn't because it's the only traction Mylie has in that area!
Eating at the salad bar...
Mylie trying not to fall over on the way to her roundbale, she almost DID fall over when she got a bit excited after seeing me thinking I may have more food for her and went slip sliding down the hill.. I couldn't even look! I had to look away and pray she didn't fall on her butt
And my half finished run-in shelter
Unfortunately my wood all froze to the ground by the barn and anyway it's in the wrong spot after living through some harsh wind I decided it'd be a better idea to wait until spring, jack it up, slap some wheels on, take out the fence in that area, and wheel it down to the bottom of the hill so it completely faces south..
It has 2 walls so it does act as a pretty decent windbreak for Mylie.
