Today when I went to feed and water the ducks again before bed I sat and watched them. They are 6.5 weeks old and just moved outside this past week so I'm always seeing new little things they do. They've been putting themselves to bed since the second night outside but I haven't stayed to watch them do it. By the time I go back out to lock them up they're already inside the house. So today I sat watching them and when they were all about finished my Rouen drake Darwin led them all to bed. Actually, he went to the door and just kind of hovered there until they followed him. He couldn't just leave his girls.
