It will be winter soon and my rooster got less sweet

Ever since it started getting colder my rooster stopped letting me hold him and he pecks my hands when i pet him/try to is this normal he doesnt attack with the spurs at all so i can walk near him

Birds often get a bit touchy about being handled when molting as it feels physically uncomfortable due to the pin feathers coming in. Just let him be, he'll probably go back to normal once he's done
