Still a month until I get my chicks.

Have read everything I can get my hands on. Even started a chicken blog to indulge my obsession

Have studied so many threads on BYC that I know the answers to many of the questions even though I've never owned a chicken!

Waiting for carpenter to return from vacation so we can get the coop started, so things are at a standstill for the moment and DH is getting very weary of me forwarding him emails regarding automatic chicken doors, coop ventilation, roost dimensions and the like.

Forget the Swine Flu, I need a vaccination for Chicken Fever!

I'm Val and I was in denial about my chicken addiction for a long time. Now that I have 10 in the coop, 15 juveniles in my garage, and 8 chicks in the house with 18 eggs in the bator, I'm thinking I'm pretty well hooked!
