Its A Miracle of GOD!!!

After much anticipation and wait on my bearded white silkie eggs to hatch. day 21 has come and gone by just like any other, with no signs of life.

but wait just as i was about to abandon ship, and count my loses i heard... A PEEP! and on the eve of day 23.
could it be? i thought it was my imagination, so i looked in and to my great astonishment there it was. a pip
a pip in an egg!

so my question here is how long does i take the chick to come out, and why had i heard nothing till it was pipping. these are some quite chicks!

i was told it could take up to 24 hrs for them to hatch

maybe it started to peep to let you know " Dont throw us out I am still in here" LOL

[Must Be Losing It]

I had the same issue this past weekend and nobody pipped or peeped until day 23 so don't worry. I was told to sit still until day 25 before I thought about tossing out eggs.
