It's a miracle!

Wellll, we ended up with 11 chicks! There was no longer any sign of life inside the last 2 eggs:( The last chick that hatched needed a little help out of its shell( last one hatched Thursday around 4 pm- eggs started hatching tuesday) This chick seems kind of weak. It peeps plenty, but it's smaller than the others and very slow moving, when it does move, it's very wobbly. Eyes are a bit watery also. Momma was ready to stretch her legs today, so I made it to where she could take them down to the ground- in a secure enclosure. When I saw she was down, I went to see if they followed her down safely, and they had, all except one. He was just all alone up in the brooder:( I brought him in and got him to drink some electrolyte water. Now he's making the rounds with me while I pick my kids up from school. Between 2 big dogs and a cat, I was afraid to leave him home alone. Do yall have any suggestions to help this 'runt' thrive?

Congrats on your 11 chicks! I'm sorry the two last ones didn't make it :hugs
Glad you could help the last baby hatch. I think it is definitely the right thing you took him in and take extra care of him. Unfortunately I can't be of any help by lack of experience and knowledge. I hope some experts will join in soon. I hope he will gain strenght and thrieve ❤
