Acan ran to the guardhouse, shifting back to his human shape so he could fit into the door, calling loudly for help from someone to assist Rayko. Heaven knew they couldn't afford to loose any more people, especially fighters. They had lost so many, and Acan would feel guilty if Rayko went and got himself killed because he faced danger alone.

Ducking through the entrance, Acan called loudly through the guardhouse, then started climbing the stairs to the rampart walkway, looking for a guard to accompany Rayko in his quest through the narrow tunnel. He wondered if he might be able to shimmy through in human form; he wasn't fat, just very tall, but still, he knew that he couldn't fight beyond basic fisticuffs in human form. No, he didn't want to be a liability. He shouted again, looking for someone.

Lyra shook her head a little but it was too late to stop him. The male holding her ordered the other two to tie Sino up and put him in her room
Sino started backing away slowly, until they couldn't see he had picked up the crossbow he had left when he pulled out his sword. He promptly ran back to the door, took aim at Lyra's capturer, and fired a arrow at his head.

Lyra watched him so she could shift at the right time to get free without getting cut. She was nicked, but soon was able to be free of her bindings as her hawk form.

The other two humans went after Sino together, not yet noticing that their leader was down. One moved forward with his sword while the other brought out his gun
