"Nothing..." Jade said slamming the book closed, shoving it back on the shelf and raced away to her room.

History: being a flightless predatory bird, Acan has always wished he could join his brethren in the skies. He contents himself with caring for the land, bringing forth both food and flowers, as the Queen's gardener. Nothing pleases him more than a glorious, well tended garden.
Bird species: Terror bird (phorusrhacidae)
Animal form: a 10 foot tall flightless predatory bird with tiny, useless wings, a monstrous curved beak and strong neck for pecking prey to death with one swift movement, and huge clawed feet. Terror birds run at very high speeds with great agility for their size.
Human form: well tanned, muscular, very tall, close to 7 feet. He has shaggy brown hair that hangs in his eyes, and hazel eyes.
