"Oh, sorry Alton. I thought Lillia was in here..." Jade said still furious.

"Well, I'm going to go talk to Jade now. Hopefully I can get her to calm down." Lillia said and walked off, back to the library. She sighed, this whole transition would be way easier if everyone would get along a little better.

Lillia finally reached the library and opened the door. She saw Jade, and she definitely looked mad.
She walked in and looked to Jade, ignoring Alton for now. She just wanted to make Jade not hold a grudge.

Jade had not been in the garden for a very long time, so she thought she'd see how it was coming along. She walked through the rows of flowers looking at each of them, then she saw a terror bird and knew it was Acan. "Hello!" Jade called to him.

The princess was speaking to him! Acan wasn't sure what to say, so he dipped his head low in a kind of bow, and mumbled, " the honour of your presence is the sunshine in my day, princess." He looked at the ground near her feet.
