It's a wrap girls! I'm finished!

You are spot on! Not only are we enjoying the birds more, but it seems like our work load taking care of them has decreased.

When we had them in the brood box (huge cardboard box in the garage), we had to really keep things tidy. When the girls moved into the coop, our biggest challenge was getting them back in there when we couldn't keep an eye on them in the yard. Now, if they are in the yard and the sun starts to go down, they wander into the run by themselves. A short time later and we can watch them going up the ramp and put themselves to bed. If we don't let them out of the run, they are still happy to be out, and we can watch them from our window.

Our next major benchmark will be allowing them access to the nest boxes, and collecting our very first egg.

Oh I love it! Great job. I love the color too.

Wow, that's my dream coop!! That is gorgeous, I love the run, nice and tall and you won't kill yourself trying to get in!! I've copied and pasted the pic into my "future" file and will definitely refer to it for another coop/run! Awesome job!

[It is wonderful, that is some coop!! Those girls have the life:) I know you are proud, that was a lot of work, but well worth it.

Seriously, that's just showing off. I'm glad my chickens don't have the internet out in their "coop" yet. Sheesh.
Now I have to go out and cover mine with a tarp or something.
