Just thought I share what a wonderful day I'm having!!
I woke up late which incurred the wrath of the chickens...they got over it.
I convinced myself to go running (it's a major mind game for me and my body)
Mowed the lawn/weeds
Let the birds out
built the two week olds a little temporary pen so they can enjoy breeze and real ground instead of storage container and pine shavings.
Now I'm sitting in the yard with my feet up, cucumbers from the garden sliced by my side, tea and cran water to hydrate. The four month olds are running around terrorizing like always. The eight week olds are starting to stand up to the four months olds. The dog is staying where I can see her (her one restriction). All the animals have expressed great interest in the new peeps...as if it's something they've never seen before. AND to top it off, my garbage can is full of maggots I have generously shaken out for the birds.
I just feel so positive and content, i had to share!!
