Thanks everybody. I missed all of you too. Things have been really...upsetting. I got pretty low for a while but things are looking up now. A nasty breakup powered by betrayal and finding out I was being lied to all along. for the past two weeks the earliest ive gone to bed as been 2 am. i just lay there and cant stop thinking and then ill cry....not having a good time with things.

i got accepted into an alternative school so hopefully ill get my grades back where they are supposed to be. ive developed a phobia of going anywhere. it scares me to go to walmart. ah panic attacks....

And Rhett&SarahsMom, thanks a lot. that really made my day.

and sorry for the partial rant. I have a right to rant. first one to question that goes in with new bull

Rhett&SarahsMom :

I am new here but I have to tell you.
You are doing a great job.
Your seat is as good as I have seen in a LONG LONG TIME.
Your lower leg is solid, your crest release near to perfect.

I stopped competing in 1998 and can not stand to go to shows and watch what some "trainers" are sending out there.

One thing though. Helmet. I know. I know. But all it takes is one misstep and honestly, you are so talented it would be a shame to have you get hurt and not be able to ride or train again.
Keep up the great work

lol. i get a lot of that for the helmet thing. i dont know. its just never been a habit. bad, i know.

and about the trainer thing, I KNOW! Its pathetic. A friend of mine just got a college scholarship for training english horses. the girl is 18 years old and cant ride. She tried to jump stormy a few weeks ago and stormy was cantering and slowly down to a trot and she flew over her head.
How does that happen?

I had a horse when I was teenager that obviously had been beaten. Everytime you moved your arm a certain way she cringed, shook and shyed away. She eventually pretty much got over it, but it took a long time.

No leg, seat or balance.

You just keep it up and be safe. when I was your age I rode without a helmet all the time. Only knocked unconscious once! But a friend of mine was killed when her horse spooked at a squirrel. Horse came home, she wasnt with him. They found her an hour later with her head split open.

That was almost me a week ago. Poppy spooked at something in the woods and i tried to push her back under me with my other leg and she freaked. when the neighborhood saw her running down the road without me, they all came back and found me in the field....i think i still have a headache from that one.
they tried to blame her! she was just scared.

and yeah the girl who rode stormy has these legs that go at least 6 inches out away from the horses sides everytime she tries to post....
