Ideally, the non infected bird shouldn't be treated. Ideally. It's not going to harm him. The avoidance of whole-flock prophylactic tx is to avoid antibiotic resistance. But 2 birds, none routine use does not antibiotic resistance make. In other words,you do what you gotta do. If you feel she needs the buddy -. Personally, I've never used the buddy-system.
