It's below freezing here,

Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys, Emus?
My ducks usually lay all their eggs before 9am, when i release them from their house. I collect the eggs after the morning cat-food feeding frenzy and they are still warm.

Depends on your birds. I have 4 hens that lay in the am, 4 that lay in the afternoon, and 4 that lay a varying times of the day. I would starr by checking multiple times until you get a feel for when your birds lay. Also, if you have chickens some hens will sing an egg song after laying. Out of my 14 laying hens 6 or 7 of them sing after laying.
