I just put 15 eggs in the bator last night. I am also going to be putting some chicken eggs in tommorow. I have done both of them at the same time before and they all hatched so i hope it happens again.
. I have 20 Cuckoo Maran eggs going in the bator and i measured the spacing in my incubator with some of my other eggs and it looks like my bator will be full and 1 quail eggs will have to sit on top of some eggs I just don't want to take it out since there is a chance i get a chick out of the quail egg. any advice? Is it ok that i put 1 quail egg on top of other eggs? i was thinking that when a the quail egg is hatching i will just quickly switch it with another egg that isn't hatching so it will not be hatching on another egg and fall of . Does this sound like the best way to go?0.
Ok, just woke up again, lol. Checked and have no more chicks
and also the ones that were pipped had not made any progress so checked on the ones that were left. I found 2 A&M's dead in the shell and 3 that weren't dead so they are still in there, waiting to see if they can hatch on their own.
