Its day 20 and I'm a mess

I have 15 silkie eggs in the incubator. When I took them out of the turner on day 18 and candled them all was well.

Now I am a nervous wreck waiting for them to hatch! It has been probably 10 years since I have incubated eggs and I forgot how nerve racking it can be!

Maybe it's time to learn to crochet?

I think I am glad I work tomorrow and won't be around to check the incubator window all the time!
I decided it was to nice to crochet, so went for a walk instead!

I had to be gone most of yesterday when I had some hatching.....certainly makes the day go faster!!

Hello,

I am also at day 20. It is driving me crazy. I only have 4 out of 12 eggs left. This is my first hatch. One egg is moving but the others are still. I hope everything goes well for the both of us. Good luck.

I too am on day 20 of my first time ever hatch with 6 blue/black orp eggs in the bator. Am I nervous? Naw, I'm cool as a cucumber.

Ohhh...I wanted blue/black orp but I couldn't find any so I settled for Buff Orp. It is raining here otherwise I would probably go take a walk also. Maybe I will go out to the barn and play with my other chickens. At least that would keep me away from the eggs for a minute or two
