ok, it's day 21, but NO CHICKS! I don't dare open the incubator to candle again. I'm wondering if there is a chance that the eggs are slow because the bator was not up to 99.5 for the first few days but at 90-95 degrees??? Last week some of eggs resembled the pictures of eggs at days 9 and 12? is that possible? So despite being put in the bator on 4/7, could the hatch day be later than anticipated? I'm thinking I'll just let things be until Sunday? SUGGESTIONS? I'd hate to write them off when they were just on a different calendar...

It's very possible that the lower temps caused a slow growth. I would not open that bator. Keep your humidity up and give it a couple more days.

I've read of people who's chicks have hatched up to the 24th day so don't give up!
