    Hello
We found some mallard duck eggs that were abandoned by the mother so we bought an incubator to try save them. We originally had 9 but 2 died in the early stages and so there are only 7 fertile ones remaining. I candled them at day 25 and I saw movement in some and there were veins so I assumed they were alive just before they went into 'lockdown'. It's now day 28 and I have seen no sign of any of them hatching yet. I read somewhere that they can sometimes come late but we aren't sure how long we should leave it for. Should I be worried at this point?

Any advice would be much appreciated as this is my first time hatching eggs! Thank you :)

Sorry, I too have no experience with ducks but just wanted to wish you all the best! The folks on the Duck Forum should be able to help you out.
