Its finally done, Pic heavy

Here are the pictures of the waterer setup. As you are looking at the waterer in the final picture the pipe runs to the right under the coop and drops about 2'.

In this last picture you can see the drain setup as well as how there is a space under the tub. Last week I was putting the chickens in for the night and walking back and forth between the coop and storage area getting food. After I got done I turned around to shut the door and just happened to look under the tub and there was a 5' black snake curled up underneath it. Well I am not as hardcore as the wife so I caught it in the chicken net and let it go above the house. She would have gone all Steve Irwin on it but I am not up to that point yet. But at least I was able to catch it myself. It did take awhile though since it wrapped itself around the pallet that I keep the food on.

Opps this somehow managed to get on a different post. I like your waterer though. My chickens get it all over the floor and I have to clean up all the time.

wow that is such an amazing setup! It makes me wish I lived farther out of the city! The waterer setup is genius and I may have to copy that when I can finally build my chicken coop (just finishing up the quail one now...then onto chickens!)

Congrats on such a very cool coop! And snake wrangling!

Thanks, I put a lot of thought into the coop, that is one reason why it took so long. I am happy to give any help if it is needed, such as copying the waterer.
