We have been thinking about chickens for a few years but it didn't work into our schedule. Until this year. Now we are picking a coop / run design and have started our breed research. Yippee! It's chicken time. I look forward to learning more about keeping chickens in the Phoenix area so if anyone else is from around these parts give a shout back.

Please join the Arizona state thread - with your climate, advice about getting through HOT weather is a necessity. You can also find out what birds seem to survive the climate. Wish you best of luck. Just put Arizona in the search box and it will come up.
