It's Friday, the 13th... and setting eggs

I woke up in the middle of the night to peeping. I have one pip this morning!
I'm down to 14 out of 30 shipped eggs that made it to lockdown. Crossing my fingers

I really thought I over cooked these eggs...... phew! Man, my neck and elbows are killing me though. My Grandma always told me that a watched pot never boils. I guess the same goes for watching these eggs, lol. Guess I need to step away from the bator. (yeah right!) hehehe.Good luck to everyone.

Congrats! I felt the same way; I had a lot of trouble keeping my temps stable. Then that first pip - so exciting!

I thought the same thing when my kids and their friends were cheering the hatchinglings yesterday, calling out "push! push!"

4 hatched, one almost out, at least 5 more pips! This is so much fun!

Went to wake my kids up for school, checked on the bator just in time to see the first chick born. So exciting.

Why can't you put the bator on the table? Mine is on the floor, but it's so I can see them better.. I would have them out of the bedroom if my cats would stop finding ways to sit on it and change the temperature! At least it went down and not up. Nothing happened to the eggs, but still! Bad kitty cats!

LOL I need help...I got up to get my kids ready for school and I got excited for a second b/c I heard peeps....then I realized it was coming from the birds outside....

Good reminder about the watched pot-the same can def. be said about eggs.  I can only imagine how a poor hen feels while she's waiting.  This is like being pregnant all over again.

I am so there! The birds outside must know because they never hang out by the window and all day yesterday they did. Evil birds messing with out emotions!

I hear peeping! No pips, but boy is that peeping an awesome sound.

Hatch day should be late tomorrow or Saturday. Can't wait to see my first incubator hatch actually happen.

I put the ones that i thought weren't doing anything in a corner...and one of those hatched!... I'm so,so,so glad i didn't throw them out....

BBk did you use and egg carton or jus lay them down in incubator to hatch...
