It's happening!!!

Woke up with 2 more babies this morning and a 6th egg has external pipping!! This is so exciting!! Makes me want to get more eggs right away lol!

Yes!!! And now we have 6 chirping away!! We had a 7th one hatch, but it didn't make it

There is 1 more egg in the bator but I don't hear any chirping coming from it. I will leave it in for another couple days just in case.

you two did a GOOD JOB!

Now, I'm sure you know about imprinting. So handle then lots & lots & lots for the next week for sure.

In about 3 days start giving them grub worms as treats. Get them at the local pet store. You will love how they play keep away & they will love the treats.

Congratulations! I landed on this thread at just the perfect time. This is exciting to see. My chicks are hatching today as well, at MyPetChicken, and should be shipping by this afternoon.

I've been looking at incubators, and have much to learn. A bit spendy, but in order to afford a large Chocolate Orpington, I'll need to hatch from scratch. Future Project.

Again, delightful news, and the photos are sweet.
