It's hatch day, but humidity dropping

The channels are all full of water, that's why I was scatching my head. Hopefully they'll be fine.
Yeah the should be ok. I found that when mine hatched a bunch of humidity came out of the egg with them and it raised it significantly too. Good luck!

Update, one chick hatched yesterday. Yay! I understand that if each egg was laid on different days they won't always hatch on the same day. But not sure how long emerged chick can stay in the incubator without eating or drinking. She is dry, very alert and noisy! Is it harmful to open and remove her while others have not hatched yet?

You can take her out quickly if she’s completely dry. They can stay in the incubator for a while. They just absorbed the yolk so they don’t need food for up to 3 days. Congratulations! :celebrate

Thanks EvyGrace, really appreciate your help and experience. This is fun, exciting and scary all in one. chick hatch.jpg

If there was condensation and your chicks are hatching fine it was probably faulty equipment. I just want to add for future readers that it is the amount of surface area on the water not just how much water you put in. If your humidity really is low due to a incubator I that is designed poorly, or you live in a dry area you should add a bowl of water or sponge to create more surface area of water.
