Don't you just love it, you could never get tired of this. My broody has hatched at least 5 out of 7 but she is still sitting tight so there may be more to come.

They are the most adorable teeny things - dad is a standard cochin and mum(s) are a variety of bantam pekins.

It looks like there's a variety of colours too :love.

Can you tell me - what colour is photo number 3, please? I've never had a chick that colour.

Congrats, mine is all brown or black for now on, my flock are solid, i cant introduce a new member beside their own hatchling. If i do then they'll gonna kill it.
I want to have another coop someday(if i ever gonna find a place), should i triying a smaller breed, bantam, or perhaps quail or dove instead?. Can i make a chichen coop on the roof(well, maybe i'll try dove for this one).
I cant afford smaller pen(BYC people gonna kill me).

So sweet!! :love:jumpy
It's so hard to say what the little fluff balls will look like once their feathers start to come in but I've had many chicks like the black and white chick in the 3rd image, it may end up being solid black or it could be mottled once the feathers grow out. I'm sure there are a multitude of other colors that are possibilities as well, those are just what I have seen most. Congrats on a great hatch!!

I'm going to guess mottled. Our silver laced looked like that as chicks, but the mottled I have seen look like that too. Our one black one had more black and less white on her.
