It's kinda funny

Today is my dad's 89th birthday. My stepbrother just posted on FB about not being able to get ahold of dad to wish him happy birthday.

I sent him a PM and told him to try:

The Elks Club
The Lions Club
The Fraternal Order of Eagles
His girlfriends house
The pool hall
The Moose Lodge
The Knights of Columbus

Not necessarily in that order.

I wish I was out having as much fun as my dad is.

He worries me sometime. I wasn't exactly happy about him getting his drivers license renewed yesterday, but he's happy and healthy so I'm happy.

At 89, he deserves all the fun he can get. My family funs to longevity and we are all a bunch of characters. Your Dad sounds like a hoot. If you want to find him--get him a cell phone.

All those activities are probably what keep him going! I think when you sit too much, that's when you start feeling old and stiff.....

Yep, my mom passed away 19 years ago come December. We were really worried about Dad right after, but he picked himself up and got busy. He also volunteers at the hospital and nursing home in his town.
