I'm a Official chicken owner of 5girls. Introducing 3 RIRed mixed and 2 leghorns.

I exchanged out 1 leghorn for another, healthier bird.
That thread went from I was sold unhealthy hens, they were to old, I was feeding them the wrong, unhealthy feed. Scratch not Pellets or crumpled feed.
So, I hope that now goes better. I switched my feeder from scratch to pellets. I hope that you all approve of this change.

Yes, layer feed is WAY better than them getting only scratch. Scratch should be just a treat, nothing that fills them up.

Thank You Debbie 292d. Although it looks like maybe one of them is pooping badly. I saw this morning. Same as 2days ago with the one I took back and exchanged.
