My husband, who is active duty in the Navy, is being transferred to NH for the next 2 years & is leaving tomorrow. Thankfully, his parents live in a nearby town, so he'll be staying with them (and my son & I wont have to move too!) Today, we were sitting at the table eating lunch and watching the chickens in the back yard. After a few minutes he said, "I think I'll fix Moms shed up to be a chicken coop."
So, naturally, I asked, "Why?"
"Well," he said, "So I can take a couple of the chickens with me."
I looked at him for a minute, confused. He certainly seems to like our chickens, but he's never shown any real attachment to them. So I had to ask, "You're going to miss the chickens?"
"Well- of course!"
I think that may be one of the sweetest, most romantic things he has ever said to me, LOL!
