I've already learned a lot from BYC and should probably start out by saying thank you for that. I've lurked here for months now, getting ready to get chicks, figuring out how much space is needed per chicken, etc. We have red sex links that are five weeks old and they will be the start of our chicken family. I have three kids and they love them and the chicks are very friendly, so we're having a blast with them already.

We don't even have them outside in their coop/run yet and I'm already itching to get more! It's no kidding when everyone says it's addictive.

Looking forward to learning even more and maybe eventually being able to help out some others, too.
