The lady I bought my little girl from today said it's a shortened beak and it's to be expected in "Production Red" breeds. Can anybody confirm this? I will take her to vet if necessary.... I love her so much already!

I've named her Marilu Hen-ner :)

Thank you in advance for any and all help!

sometimes they do that so they wont pick at other chickens or eggs or if they were born with a crooked beak they have to do that she should be fine just keep an eye on her.

She is the most beautiful chicken I've ever seen. I hope she's going to be ok! I've had to separate her from my flock because they are pecking her mercilessly....
