I've candled my first eggs!!! Day 7 Pics!

I can see that at least 8 of my 11 eggs are fertile and are developing. I have one that is very porous and I dont think it has developed. I have a few that are pretty dark and you cant see much in them and at least one other one that is questionable.

Wow, great photos! It is so hard to photograph eggs during candling lol
those look great, I see the embryo and veining.
I do not toss any eggs til day 10 but that is just me. I want to be sure!

I dont have a candler so I used my DHs high powered led shop light. The ones kinda shaped like books. and i hid the unused lights with a dark t-shirt. Worked great! And pics are from a cell.

Since this is my first clutch. I probably wont toss any til they hatch or start smelling bad. Just in case. After this experience then Ill start tossing them a little earlier.

Made a mistake those were day 6 today is day seven. Looked at the wrong day on my calender so will be candling again tonight to see if they have changed any.

my first hatch had eggs that were porous they all hatch (6) I have brinsea mini advance hold 7 eggs, mine were easter eggers they were hard to candle I just left them had only one clear egg at 14 days took it out.

They all look good except the 4th one down--a little iffy. I'd wait a few days--all the rest are great!

Yeah I didnt see any veins or anything in that one and it's very porous ( I should have checked that before i started Incubating and traded that one for a non porous one). Also, I cant see into one of them very well but i forget which one it is. Today is actually day 7 so ill be posting new pics in a bit.

So awesome!!! My kids keep asking when we will be able to see something in our eggs. I set 27 on Saturday afternoon. So day 7 for me is Saturday or Sunday. So confused on how that works. I should look at a calendar lol. All I know is day 21 is a Saturday.

I will be anxiously awaiting your video at some point! Fun!!
