Woke up this morning to several bags of trash strewn about. Bird feeder mangled. Didn't see any tracks near the coop, but tuff to see any there.
This track was near the dumpster.

Good luck. Fact is that if a bear wants to get in generally it can. Electric fence is a good deterrent. A couple of slices of bacon on the hot wire is a great educator.

Bird feeder is only 12' from the house. My dogs who normally hear a fly toot at 100 yrds, never heard a thing. Lol
Electric fence will be going up shortly.

I had a bear RIP the wall off my coop to get at my barrel of chicken feed. Incidentally he ate all but one of my poor roosting chickens as well. I put up an electric fence and though I saw evidence he was around almost nightly he never touched my chickens again.

Thank goodness the worse I have to deal with around here is coyotes. I'm already paranoid to put them outside because we have most likely a wise raccoon getting in our Mr rubbish type container. Best of luck!

Good luck discouraging your bear! I'm assuming the electric fence will work but if not maybe you can have him removed as a nuisance bear since he's threatening livestock.

So far no bears here, fortunately. I understand only electric fencing really works; get something really strong!
