Hey yall,
They are so sweet & have been thru a heckva lot, two days of being held & all the noises & such.
I hoping to keep them all. The bantams were straight run, so I know I be getting rid of some them, maybe.

holy hannah and i thought my flock was getting big. congrats i am jealous i have to say but hopefully i will have some babies in the begining of feb from the ones that i incubated

Lucky duck! We almost went to the expo but decided not to spend the money. Usually, with my husbands job we get free tickets but not this year. Now I am really sad we did not go lol.

Wow, that's alot of cuties. I have a question about the drawer liner in you brooders. I've been using pine shavings, and even after raising the water I'm changing it 4-6 times a day. Do you leave the kiddos on the liner??. It looks like it could be pulled up and washed daily.

They are all so adorable! I love that you put the lonely one in bed with you. Sounds like something I would do. I can't wait to get our babies in a few weeks.

Shelf liners work really good for me.I tired using shavings, but no matter how high those little boogers would find a way to mess the water up.

We have a little greenhouse attached to the back of our house. There's an old timey bathtub & with a sprayer & hot water, makes it easy to clean off.

LOL, I'm a sucker for baby chics. My hubby works out of town & the dogs don't mind.

Holy Cow, 56! You are a good chicken mommy to rescue them. I miss having little fuzzy butts in my breakfast room. Do you know breeds they are?

Well, I think the standards are production reds. Three of the bantams are polish & the rest who knows,it'll be fun trying to figure that out.

Thanks, I've about had it with the pine shavings. They are digging down to the plastic and throwing the stuff all over, with that and landing on the top of the water I'm chaning it every time I walk by.. I'll try the shelf liner.
