I've got my first broody.......

She's been on the nest for 2 days. I have a couple of questions. I set Serama eggs in the bator on Wednesday. Should I give them to her or some of them? I'm thinking she'd do a better job than I will. Plus I know Serama's are hard to hatch. Thanks

Depending on how many eggs she can cover, I'd give half to her and keep half in the incubator. Cover your bets both ways.

Just make sure she is absolutely broody before you put expensive serama eggs under her. Some broodies set for a few days and then just get up.

I think I may move a couple under her tomorrow if she's still setting. Not sure If I should move her inside tonight or wait. Hmmmm

Well I brought her inside today and she is still sitting happily on the eggs. I've added a few more so hopefully she will stay put.
