As the daughter-in-law to a linguist I have to tell you that your spellings are perfectly correct. It is we, in the US, that are in such a hurry that we are mutilating the language. We no longer speak "English", but some hybrid that lacks finesse. (His words, not mine!)

congrats on the green eggs, I wish I researched chickens before I dove in head 1st. My 2 chickens has turned into 4 I'll have to wait til these pullets (which are only starting to lay) are too old to lay eggs before I go for the coloured eggs, either that or I need to win the lottery and buy a farm.
