I guess I would be in the minority here but I actually like Martha Stewart, always have enjoyed her shows.
And for some strange reason, I have always thought she was moderately hot as well.... Guess I like powerful women?.........Guess I should probably stop typing now as well.....

I am sure that she knows pretty well how much some people dislike her. She's in the public eye and that goes with the territory. So do stalkers, death threats, hate mail, and attempts on your life by psychotic people, all of them generally egged on by ppl on public bb's saying how much they hate the person and how bad she is. Ever thought of that? Every time you go on about how bad someone is, you're probably egging on some wacko to hurt them.

Might be better not to get so personal. Yeah, I understand that it's not your fault if some crazy person seizes on what you say and offs someone. But maybe there really is a better way to express oneself.

I figure anyone getting upset about how pompous and arrogant martha stewart is needs something else to get bugged about. There are more important things in the world. Arrogant? All the other personal insults? That's an awful lot of 'reading in' to someone's mind from their outward appearance.

Always a bad idea to assume one knows a person from watching them on tv or in the public eye.

I look at her as a businesswoman, and nothing more. She's got a job in a niche she created that did not exist before. To me, she's got marketing smarts, so she figured out a way to make money that no one else thought of.

If one of you did that, we'd all be yelling, 'Yay! Follow your heart!'

Actually I really like the stinky European 'fancy' cheeses, though I prefer to get cheeses LIKE those from local artisans who are using locally produced milk.

One real good thing about stinky fancy cheese, when you're on a diet, you can use about 1/4 as much, and get a really good taste from it.

There's a local guy that makes 'ash cheese' from goats milk, it's got a line of ash in it - that is AWESOME.

And YES, actually, I DO realize how many jokes someone could make about 'ash cheese'.
