Hello BYC Community!!
I am in the central PA area and am fairly new to chickens. My 1-yr old daughter received some chicks for Easter 3 years and ago it wasn't long until I was hooked. I currently have a mixed flock, the girls include 6 white leghorns, 2 red sex links, 2 black australorps(sp), 1 black mixed mutt. I have an old White leghorn roo and am trying to find homes for 3 mixed breed roos. I took in 6 chicks from a friend in the spring and wouldn't you know it I ended up with 5 roos!!! Just my luck!! I also have an Americauna hen that is a house chicken and shares the house with my 3 dogs, 3 cats and any number of foster cats as I also run a small cat rescue. I've been coming here for information and to oogle coops and pics for the longest time but for some reason never joined before.
