Ivermec and eggs

Can you eat the eggs from your chickens if you have used ivermec in their water?

I don't know what the recommendation is, but ivermec is given to people in other countries. It is used to cure river blindness in Africa.

Check the meat withdrawal time to get an idea; I'm not sure there is one.

When I worm my chickens with ivermectin, I do not eat the eggs for 1 week. Probably would not hurt us, but if somewone were to have a sensitivity to that drug you could have problems.
