Hi! I was attempting to find the ivermectin dose for deworming 2 roosters. They are pets and wanted to get them on a worming schedule. Thank you! They are mixed breed and medium sized.

I advise against using drugs to deworm chickens. Do your chickens have a pale comb and beak? If so, deworm them. If not and you are just doing it for the sake of it, I would advise against it. If they are healthy leave them. Less is more.
If you need to deworm them I would use diatamoscious (probably spelled that wrong) earth.
Ivermectin is poisonous to dogs, so it might be to chickens I am not sure.

Okay. Their comb isn't too bad but they are very thin despite being free fed and great appetites

Ivermectin is 100% safe for *all* poultry and waterfowl, but it's *not* an effective de-wormer. I use it in mine to treat lice and mites, but not for worms.

Ivermectin is *not* poisonous to all dogs. @Welshies , please read this: https://www.petcarerx.com/article/ivermectin-intolerance-in-collies-and-other-dogs/750

Diatomaceous earth, aka DE, will not treat any worms.

If you think you roosters have worms it would be best if you could get a fecal test done, but if you can do that, and you still want to de-worm, get some Valbazen (albendazole) or Safeguard (fenbendazole).

There are studies that say otherwise, as well as many posts from people that have lost, or almost lost their birds to worm infestations despite using ivermectin.

I meant the DE.
I must be confusing ivermectin with another dewormer- I know many dewormers are poisonous to dogs and cats.
