Ivermectin Doses

My chickens are not laying right now, so I thought it would be the best time to treat with Ivermec for the stubborn scaly leg mites.

I will be treating orally in their water.

MY QUESTION: How many TIMES do I need to do this to totally kill of scaly leg mites? Just once? If twice, how soon after the first dose?

Do I need to treat the coop even if the nights get to -30?

Keep in mind I'm talking about leg mites, not the type that's consistently on and off the chicken depending on when they feed.
