Ivermectin

Does anyone use this on their chickens ? And results. Also diamataceous earth.

Ivermectin is not approved for chickens, but it can be useful to treat mites or lice, and scaly leg mites. Eggs must be discarded after using it for a period of time. DE is irritating to eyes and the breathing of humans and chickens. It will not treat an outbreak of lice or mites, although it may help to prevent them. It will not worm chickens. Permethrin can be used to treat lice and mites. Vaseline is good for treating scaly leg mites.
