What is the first breed you will make sure you have in your flock when you move?

Story time: The year after Roger Godell removed the Saints coach, the Super Bowl was held in New Orleans. We were asked as a city to be nice to Mr. Godell while he was in town. All of the Gulf South hated Godell at that time.
There were many parties and the like, as New Orleans is known for. People who wanted to earn extra money were hired as wait staff and bar tenders for the night entertainment. DS got a job as wait staff. DS walked out of the bar area with a tray full of shots glasses filled with a sticky liquor and noticed Godell talking with a small group of men. He walked up as to offer them drinks, and pretended to slip, Thus spilling an entire tray of Liquor on Roger Godell.
Of course. he was fired on the spot, but when he walked into the kitchen to rid himself of his apron, the entire staff started yelling and cheering for DS!
So if you ever hear that story, it is true. I know, my son did it.

What is the first breed you will make sure you have in your flock when you move?

Pheonixes. I will be bringing as many eggs as I possibly can to restart the flock. I may need to outcross to unrelated pheonix to boost numbers, but as long as I have a few dun/khaki and a few white or carriers of white that hatch and make it to reproduction age, I should manage to pull through
