OK so this morning my mom wakes me up a 7:00am

. Then she proceeds to tell me that my idiot horse managed unlatch the big door on my rabbit hutch that I keep my youngest juvenile chicks in and at least half of them were out (a lot of chicks) and so I had to go catch them which, surprisingly, really wasn't that hard, but still. I was hoping to sleep late becuz, later today, some friends of the family are going to give me 2 female kittens just weaned becuz they feed ferals (so do I but I haven't had any problems, eating chickens, having litters etc. Oh and I personally made an agreement with the big tom cat saying I would always feed him and his friends if they didn't eat my flock. Not one incident so far

) and the friends have 3 unfixed female cats of their own (the feral has 3 kits, I get 2, and they have a cat with kits and another who is due next week), so they have a lot of kittys. Please DO NOT insult me or the friends becuz of this. Who can pay $150 at this time in the economy right??? Plus they usually find homes for EVERY kitten. Anyways so now I have to bounce in my seat until at least 11 becuz that's when the friend who usually deals with the cats, wakes up. THEN they or all of us need to catch them becuz they were born under a wood pallet that has 1000 pounds of rocks on it. So I'm REALLY bouncy and impatient and its only 9:02!!!!!

. So anyways, someone distract me. If not im going to have to play Sims 2 Pets For the next few hours. Not that I dislike Sims but I want my cats!!! Then when I get them the excitement mellows and here I am again sort of disappointed the adrenaline ran out LOL.

ETA: Did I mention I got within 5 feet of a stupid squirrel that eats my chicken's feed and my horse's grain??? The darn thing just walked away when I charged AT it screaming "AAAAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAAY!!!!!!!!!!". The ferals I feed are NOT doing they job LOL... D*** squirrel

Mamagardener, actually I love my horse but she always get in trouble. She gets caught in fences trying to eat the weeds on the other side, she will try to pull bales of hay out of the feed stall (Blocked but she finds ways ) therefore trashing the stall, she eats chicken food, and did I mention she knows how to open gates and actually knocks steel panels of their screws or hinges or whatever you call them. Like I said I love her but she always does SOMETHING. Shes TOOOO smart. Last year she got caught in barb wire and her leg swelled to 3 or 4 times its size. She could barely walk on it for months (thank god she didn't tear anything).

Or even try talking to local vet clinics.. several of them will let you do some volunteer work in exchange for spaying and neutering, or sell some chicken eggs, or do a fundraiser. By not fixing those cats, you're just overpopulating an already overpopulated world and causing other cats to have to be put to sleep. Please don't disregard this.
