For the third time; Lucy has broken out of her run. I have it all tied down with zip ties. She picks at them until she gets them out. She was peeking in our French doors this morning begging for mealy worms. I will use wire next time. She is quite the little lady!~

We had a chick like that from birth—she always climbed out of her brooder and ran around the house! We named her Houdini because of it. Hope you figure a way to keep that stinker in, but it sounds like she's persistent for those worms!

I am reinforcing it. We have been very lucky with predators. Our yard is fenced and they are rather close to the house. Thanks!

I have a hen who likes to escape, her name is Cave. I also have a bantam hen named Lucy. She likes to get into trouble, too. She likes to go under the shed were I can't reach her. She really likes to do this when I am in a hurry.
Have you tried tying it down with wire? Your hen Lucy could break the zip ties, but she probably won't be able to break wire.
