Jamun seed for bird flu

I've been reading local posts about the avian flu being in my area and rumors of jamun seed capsules or tablets being added to chickens water as a potential preventative.

I realize this is not proven in any way. However, have any of you heard of this? Trying it? Or know if it could cause any harm?

I read to add two capsules per gallon of water, in case you want to try it!
